The breakfast felt like any other B&B, but they added an appetizer and an unexpected, tasty knickerbocker glory overnight oats. I can’t think of any complaints.

The place is well situated, easy to reach the cliff gardens and town centre. Overall, the property looked good, well decorated and spotless. Jim and Alison were the most welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. I couldn’t find any faults and would definitely come back.

White Rose is a charming guest house. Jim and Alison are very welcoming hosts. The property is very well presented, with excellent decor and a few quirky items. It is very clean and offers off‑street parking, though free street parking is also available outside. The breakfast selection and quality are exceptional. The location is a few minutes’ walk from both Glen Gardens and Crescent Gardens, and the town centre is about a 10‑minute walk away, so it’s in a perfect spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will certainly return in the future. There is nothing “not to like” about White Rose.
