The motel was clean, the staff were great, and it was perfect for a one‑night stay. Nothing was lacking, and parking was easy.

⚠️ DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. Women, please use caution. If you choose to stay here, I strongly recommend taking pictures and documenting the condition of your room when you arrive. After our stay, the owner accused us of taking a bath towel, face towel, washcloth, and bath mat. I explained that we did not take anything and even offered to let him check my bags. Instead, he refused and told me to stop yelling. Yes, I raised my voice because I was upset about being accused of taking items I did not take. He then threatened to call the police, and which I told him to go ahead and call them. I paid a $100 deposit and was only given $62.26 back, with $37.74 deducted for the alleged missing items. I also went back into the room myself to look for the items he claimed were missing. The owner followed me into the room and was speaking to me aggressively while I was checking around. When I checked the bed, he aggressively pulled the blankets off the bed and threw them aside. I found his behaviour intimidating and completely unnecessary. What made the situation even more frustrating is that I had brought my own towel and washcloth with me. The owner acknowledged the black washcloth was mine, but when I checked the room, my washcloth was no longer there and was not returned to me. The owner also kept telling me I could check the other rooms, which I found confusing and uncomfortable because the other rooms had nothing to do with the items supposedly missing from ours. I checked out around 6 a.m., even though checkout was 11 a.m. After dropping my partner off at work, neither of us was comfortable with me staying there alone given what happened 2 days before our stay, while my girlfriend and her daughter were staying there, and she told me that before checkout, the owner unlocked their door and attempted to enter their room. Checkout was 11 a.m., and I was there to pick her up at 10:50 a.m. So there was no reason for him to enter their room.

“Enjoyed the stay and would happily return next year for the event.”

The price was excellent and the motel was only 15 minutes from my event. The bed was very comfortable, sheets and towels were clean, and there was a fridge and a microwave. The owners were very welcoming and efficient. The place felt a little “tired” in spots, but it’s a budget motel. A plumbing issue arose and they dealt with it quickly, though it couldn’t be fixed even after trying. I would have liked coffee‑making facilities. The Wi‑Fi details were hidden on the back of the key tag, which I noticed on the morning I left.
