Great location, just a five minutes walk away from the main shopping street and train station. Hotel was in front of a main street and had people walking around even at night, so it was more assuring to walk back to the hotel at night. The hotel was also well situated between two convenience stores for a nice breakfast/supper!

I stayed close to Kawaramachi, and the quietness was a real plus, especially for starting my next day’s activities. The view of the Kamo River was fairly good. I wish the breakfast menu had a bit more variety, and the welcome coffee was confusing to locate.

The hotel is lovely, comfortable, and spotless. The staff are very attentive and clear. Breakfast quality is excellent. It’s conveniently near the subway station and shopping centers, offering everything a traveler could need. I recommend it!
