The staff were nice, the location was low and close to the water, and the view from the kitchen and common room over the sea was great; the dock is right across, and small shops and restaurants are just outside. However, the whole hostel needs renovation and feels a bit worn; the kitchen was filthy, mugs stuck to the cabinet floor, the bedding had stains, and our room only had a tiny roof vent, no window, and no way to ventilate.

The rooms were nice, but the lift was out of service for most of our stay. Though advertised as disability‑accessible, the broken lift left only two flights of stairs, which was really difficult for me.
