The only thing that mattered was the convenient walkable location; everything else fell short. The lack of comfort, complete absence of soundproofing, poor housekeeping, and the sheets never being changed when they were visibly dirty (a 3‑year‑old girl stayed with us) were all issues. When we left, a rust mark was on the towel I had placed on the bathroom door, and we had to pay 500 baht for it. I definitely don't recommend this place.

“The worst hotel I have stayed in”

The place was so bad we had to move hotels the next day. I stayed at De Lavender Bangkok Hotel recently, and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First off, the photos on Google are completely misleading. The room looks clean, modern, and spacious online, but in reality it’s the total opposite. The actual room felt run‑down, poorly maintained, and nowhere near as nice as advertised. It’s clear the pictures are either very old or heavily edited. Cleanliness was a big issue. The room didn’t feel properly cleaned, and overall it just gave off an uncomfortable vibe. The space was also much smaller than expected, making it feel cramped and not worth the price at all. Service wasn’t any better. The staff were unhelpful and didn’t seem to care about guest concerns. There was no sense of hospitality, which made the whole stay even worse. The only decent thing is the location, but that alone doesn’t make up for everything else. For the same price, you can easily find far better hotels in Bangkok. I would strongly NOT recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by the photos—they do not reflect reality.

“The staffs are good and polite”

The place is close to everything we needed, but it gets congested and there's a lot of smoking.
