The room was neat, clean, and had everything you’d need to stay. But at night the air was thick with cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom, as if someone was secretly smoking there all the time, which dampened the otherwise pleasant vibe. We stayed in room 510, and the view was just a barred stairwell—nothing spectacular, but fine for a single night since we were just there to sleep. The drive to the city center takes at least 45 minutes, longer if traffic jams hit.

The new hotel boasts a nice lobby and great rooms, and there are plenty of collectibles on display; a 7‑Eleven sits right across from the hotel, but the staff need training to attend visitors and should speak basic English to communicate with international tourists, as the receptionist barely smiled and the restaurant manager was expressionless most of the time; there is no breakfast buffet, only a limited menu, which is understandable if the hotel has low footfall, and the location is a 45‑minute drive from the city center.
