“Bof.”
The rooftop terrace, with its two tables and eight chairs, and the shower were the only highlights. The hotel turned out to be a real disappointment despite the glossy brochure: it sits far from the centre with nothing nearby, and although we were promised a shuttle to the city several times a day, it never ran while we were there. Avoid the third‑floor rooms overlooking the pool because the exterior lighting shines into them well past midnight; when we asked for a change they said it wasn’t possible. The room was plain and the bed extremely hard. Breakfast was mediocre – a few typical dishes without flavor, melon, dragon fruit, dried‑out pancakes and the worst coffee I’ve ever had in Asia. The pool, shaded and overlooking the lobby, only had three lounge chairs, and none of the reception staff spoke English. In short, given the lack of attractions nearby, pick a hotel closer to the centre.
