The silence and the sense that time had stopped were unforgettable. This ancestral house is full of antiques and still retains its historic charm, yet it offers modern comforts like a very comfortable bed, a shower, and air‑conditioning. The host’s warm welcome and her tiny dog were delightful. The morning chats with the host and other guests were friendly and engaging. The scenery, with views of the river and its northern bank, offers memorable sunsets. I was enchanted by this location. There were no issues.
