“施設はやや古くて使いにくい。”

The restaurant team treated us exceptionally well and the food was very satisfying, and the onsen with its semi‑outdoor bath was a real highlight. The facilities felt dated, and the bathtub in the room drained poorly, letting debris float and leaving the bathroom soaked; the toilet was out of order, so we used the shared one where the flush ran on cold water instead of warm.

The food was excellent, especially the dinner which showed a lot of care – the ingredients were fresh and the seasoning gentle yet flavorful, which satisfied us at 66 and 65 years old. Younger guests might find it a little light, though. The hot water here has that local silky‑smooth feel, which was fantastic. The hotel is still rebuilding after the flood, so keep up the good work.

“지인들에게 추천하는 료칸”

The onsen water was the best I’ve encountered at any ryokan, and I liked being able to use a private family bath plus a lobby area stocked with unlimited draft beer and ice‑cream drinks. The standard kaiseki was fresh and tasty, though the dishes arrived so quickly the meal felt a little rushed. Next time I’ll book a room with its own private bath. The breakfast portions were generous and tasty, but it was disappointing that I couldn’t get a seat by the window even though I arrived early.

The food here was pretty great, but that's about where the positives end. The hotel is super far from the station, which made getting here a hassle. To make matters worse, when I messaged them for help with directions, they completely ignored me.
