I couldn't find words to describe how grateful I am for securing a beach‑view room; it made my solo trip feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for, and I’m now committed to staying here every time I visit. The only thing that slipped me was the absence of Netflix—though honestly, that actually kept me more present—and on the first night I noticed brown stains on my doona, which made me uneasy until room service swapped it out.

The spot is excellent for reaching the beach, shops, and the bus stop. The Queen apartment is roomy, featuring a separate bedroom, lounge, kitchen with a full‑size fridge, and basic cooking gear, plus a French pastry waiting just outside the entrance. I couldn’t find anything to dislike.

“Loved my stay, weather was a bit yikky. Wet and windy.”

The two‑bedroom suite with a lounge and kitchenette was spacious, clean, and offered a great view of the ocean from the window, and it’s close to the beach—definitely a place I’d like to return to. The only drawback was the lift arrangement: you need one lift to reach the lower ground, another to get to the upper ground, and then a third to reach the car park, which felt a bit odd.

The hotel is fairly modern and sits in the heart of Scarborough, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The beds were uncomfortable, and on weekends rooms are often booked by loud groups, so be cautious.
