“Lovely ApartHotel style in a great location”

Great spot, spacious room and a nice breakout area for tea and snacks. High ceilings make it feel very authentic, tucked off the main road into the small streets beside the port. The showers could use a bit more fixing—the drain was broken. Overall, not much to complain about; everything was in place and working.

“Sedere scurta in Genova”

I was a bit disappointed because the apartment looked nothing like the photos; the terrace is tiny and the city view can only be seen from a balcony accessed by a dangerous spiral metal ladder. The picture makes it seem like a large terrace. In reality the place isn’t an apartment at all – it’s two bedrooms and a kitchenette that are rented separately, so you’re only booking a single room. Finding the location is tough, both on the street and inside the building. The staff are polite only if you complain or ask for something; they’re not empathetic at all. Avoid it!

The room was right in the old town, yet it stayed surprisingly quiet for us. We stayed in the roof room, which was very clean, cozy, and made us feel at home immediately. A heads‑up for future guests: the kitchen is shared with another apartment, something I didn’t know before booking. The staff were all very friendly and warm, especially the lady at reception, who added a lot to our pleasant stay.

The place is in a great spot, close to the train station and the harbour. It offers a coffee machine, milk, water and tea, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.
