The hostel’s location is great for walking to city attractions, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The price matches what’s offered in a pricey city. However, the room, though well‑lit, has a persistent damp smell and no fridge or kettle (only water and soft drinks are allowed inside). I also faced TV malfunctions and AC problems that remained unresolved.

The place is a superb spot in the city center for successful outings. The only downside was that the air conditioning leaked in my room.

It’s close to entertainment spots, the staff are courteous and helpful, and the value for money is good. Nothing else to add.

Everything was perfect! I arrived early and was let into my room right away. The room itself was great, the staff were helpful, and the café offered tasty food, pastries, and drinks for breakfast or snacks. Because the hotel wasn’t full, they kindly let me stay in the room and café until my late‑night flight. The location is central to all the cool spots, especially Nachalat Binyamin street and Carmel market. I totally recommend Isla—go now! The only wish would be a small fridge, as summer was hot and a cold drink in the room would have been ideal.

I liked that there is good mattress, the lobby, the shower, the accessibility, the darkness in the room. Rusty sink tap, crumbling and molding in where the part between sanitary furniture and tiles or between tiles/floor tiles. Very minimalist storage. Yes. True private hotel room should have a proper big storage with closet doors. Even that consol they had, had barely space to accommodate my clothes and that was a suitcase with stuff for only 2 days. The AC in the corridor is too cold. I do like it when it's little cold because of summer and I'd define myself as "Siberian" in that aspect, but its on 16° and that is still slightly too cold even for summer to walk in. There was a flood in my shower and the compensation for that was poor. A coffee and a small cake. Eventually even the café wasn't served. I think honestly that for the effort that is required to move the stuff to a new room which is nice that they did so, should be more compensation. The water takes time to heat but its bearable. The alternative room has pee on the toilet seat. It's advisable to check the alternative room before giving it. I was surprised because I'm a returning customer and have been happily client of this accommodation for several years already
