The room was spacious, clean, and the bed comfortable, with ample parking and a good breakfast buffet. Late arrivals and check‑in/out were hassle‑free and the staff were friendly. The property could benefit from a makeover—room doors, paint, and other fixtures show wear and creak, and the rooms have very poor sound insulation, so noises from adjacent rooms or the hallway are audible.

The place was clean and compact, but I had trouble finding it because the address was confusing. After I emailed them, everything worked out fine.

I spotted a lovely walking trail around a lake outside the hotel grounds, and the golf restaurant Solvogn nearby was a great spot to eat. We had booked a standard double room, but were handed a family room that had a bunk bed and a handicap toilet—definitely not cozy for two. When we pointed it out, we were told it wasn’t possible to swap back to the standard room we’d paid for, even though we arrived a quarter past the check‑in time. Delivery trucks were unloading at 4 am right outside our room, and breakfast was bland with a bad coffee machine.
