It’s close to Dorf Platz, where you can find restaurants, a pharmacy, a bakery, and a small supermarket, yet it’s away from the main road, so it’s very quiet. The Zugspitze Train Station Grainau is only 10 minutes away, making it easy to reach Eibsee, Zugspitze, and Garmisch Main Station.

The apartment is lovely with a fantastic terrace, well‑equipped, and in a superb location. The reception was friendly, everything was fine, and I’d definitely return.

The space is large, the bathroom is big, so there’s plenty of room for the dog, and dog towels are provided (we had very rainy days). Being on the ground floor, right next to the entrance, we could hear every comings and goings, so the dog was always on guard. The kitchen is a bit cramped.

The room was very nice and we felt comfortable from the first second :) From the accommodation we could reach all the places we wanted to visit within minutes. The staff were also very kind and accommodating. We’d love to come back! The kitchen could have more equipment, but since there’s a dishwasher, the used items get cleaned quickly.

We, a family of four plus a dog, stayed in two apartments. One had a great bathroom with a bathtub, and the other had a terrace with mountain view—absolutely amazing and with several seating options. The location is good for hiking. The town is small and lacks a proper grocery store with a wide selection. Without a car it’s difficult because the buses don’t run often and are crowded, so you’re often left behind. The shelves above the kitchen island aren’t comfortable for taller people. The internet connection was shaky.
