“Stunning old town, but better to stay somewhere else.”
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the old town, which is within a 10-minute walk. If you are driving, they can help reserve a parking space in the adjacent lot. Although the space is tight and the price is high, it saves a lot of hassle and time. The front desk staff were a mix of warm and welcoming, and cold and perfunctory. We had booked a parking space in advance, but the receptionist on duty hadn't coordinated properly with the parking staff, resulting in the parking attendant turning us away claiming it was full, which required a lot of back-and-forth communication. The living room window faced the staircase, but the curtains couldn't fully block the view into the room, and I even found another guest's hair band left under the sofa. When we first checked in, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, so we had to go back downstairs to ask for help. Honestly, the parking attendant actually made us feel much more comfortable than the front desk
