The location was fine, but a mouse kept me up and the service was decent overall. I ended up in a house across the street, about 100–200 m away from the address shown, with rooms that were acceptable but missing wall sockets (none by the headboard), a mattress that was too soft, and a leaking showerhead—plus a power outlet right in the shower area, which was worrisome. The real shock was a persistent mouse that gnawed on my pastries and made noise whenever I turned off the lights, even after I tried to chase it away. I had to request a room change, and was moved to the original address, which turned out to be completely different from the one on the side street.

The location near the beach and centre was ideal, everything was within a 3‑minute walk, and the staff were very friendly. However, there were no plates in the room even though a fridge was present.

The accommodation was sufficient since most of the time I wasn’t in the room; there was a coffee machine, kettle, and fridge, and a 5‑minute walk to the beach. A knife and plates would have been nice, and the shower water was a bit hot with a regulator that was hard to adjust.
It’s centrally located in Zandvoort, but I booked a place on Thorbeckestraat and ended up on Hogeweg without any thought; later I realized the Thorbeckestraat property was noticeably better.
