The self‑check‑in was hassle‑free; we had paid in advance and the key card was ready on a table. The room was well equipped, with very comfortable beds, pillows, neck pillows, and a coffee machine. We didn’t use the breakfast. Parking was scarce, probably because of the large construction site next to the hotel. As first‑time guests, it was unusual that there was no staff or reception. We arrived at 20:00 h and, without a helpful hotel staff member, we wouldn’t have known where to find the key and the room.

“Good value for money”

Getting in was easy. The only downside was that there was no breakfast on weekends.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful, but the bathroom had a problem with the hot water temperature, causing a pulsating flow that made it hard to set the right heat.

The hotel has a real 7‑cylinder machine that makes a decent espresso at breakfast – I haven’t seen that in any other hotel. Respect! However, it doesn’t really live up to the luxury claim. The rooms are nice, but not especially luxurious. For a big city the price might be justified, but here I found it clearly overpriced.

“Gut mit einer Einschränkung”

Check‑in and check‑out were smooth and well organized. The bathroom outlet was broken, so I had to charge my electric toothbrush, razor, etc. in the bedroom instead.
