“great boutique hotel, clean and friendly, near train station”

The owner was very nice, letting us check in early and arranging a taxi for our 4:45 am departure. The hotel sits on one floor of a multi‑level building with 12 rooms. Its proximity to the train station meant we could walk there with large rolling bags, and the side street had nearby restaurants. We were three adult cousins staying for one night in a room with three beds—two twins and one king—and it worked perfectly for us. Breakfast is offered, but we left early before it opened, so I’m guessing it was good. The lobby is small with an adjacent lounge and a restroom, all great for three people in one room. The beds were very comfortable, the decor traditional, and both room and bathroom were spotless. If you’re staying in Rome longer, the location is very central to the sites.
