Our room was spacious with comfy beds, the hotel had a lot of character, the bathroom was large, and the staff were friendly; breakfast had a nice personal touch and the rear terrace was a pleasant spot to sit in the shade. The glass dome across the street got busy from 7 am onward, but it didn’t keep us awake, and there were few other guests around, which felt a bit odd.
