The staff were polite and the spot is perfect for getting around São Paulo, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately the toilet wasn’t clean – there was grime under the seat and the lid was still wet from being washed. On top of that I got two calls in the early morning saying they’d closed my stay because of time limits; the second call came at 5 a.m. and they kept pressing even after I explained it was an online reservation.

The room service was decent and got what I needed when I asked. However, they slapped a 100‑peso fee on me for checking out just 12 minutes past the agreed time, which felt excessive.
