“Expensive for what it was but the staff were very helpful”

The location was excellent, but the car park’s postcode differs from the hotel’s and should be listed on the website, as should directions to it; this would be very helpful. We arrived well before the stated breakfast time, yet the food had been cooked earlier and kept warm, so the bacon was crispy but hard, while the mushrooms and black pudding were overly crispy and not good.

“Not up to expected standard”

It was convenient, but I had originally booked two nights and, with the hotel’s permission, changed to one night; the hotel ignored my request and still charged me for two nights, and the room—located on the top floor—was ice‑cold with no heating.

“Disappointing.”

The place is in a convenient spot, but the staff were rude and unwelcoming, and the windows in the rooms were painted shut, making it quite unpleasant during the heatwave.
