“Zły wybór na długi pobyt.”
The hotel is in Novalja, close to large supermarkets and relatively close to the beach, but to get good sun‑bathing conditions you had to go much farther. Parking is at the building. A grill is available for guests. Half of the bed was comfortable, the other mattress was too soft. There is probably mold in the room, which didn’t completely ruin my allergies. The shower door is poorly screwed, so you have to be very careful while showering or later walking around wet in the bathroom. There is no mop, cloths, or even a second sponge for dishes, so you can’t wipe anything. With a long stay, mess and dirt accumulate quickly and it’s hard to manage. There are no dishes, everything is minimal and mediocre. There isn’t even one large knife besides the bread knife. The laundry service is advertised, but using it is a gamble: either it’s constantly washing guests’ bedding, or the garage where it was was closed. Quiet hours are supposedly observed, but when a group of Italians were shouting at night, no one reacted or gave them any attention. The room was repeatedly lit, which you could feel on the uncertain curtains and drapes. Air conditioning would help in the bedroom because it’s hard to sleep in the heat with windows closed, and when they’re open you can still hear constant noises, music, and parties in the area lasting almost until dawn (suggest bringing earplugs). Short stays aren’t bad, but for about a week or longer, unfortunately it’s not a place worth choosing.
