Auntie and uncle were friendly and kind, the place is very convenient, and I’d love to visit again, but when we first entered the room there was a bad odor.

The hosts’ warmth is something special, even though they barely speak English. The accommodation is for those who love the simple and original, it doesn’t offer comfort but it’s very clean and well maintained, and you should know there is no Wi‑Fi.

The staff, especially Uncle and Aunty, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and juice were offered at a very low price and tasted great. The location is super convenient—PickMe and Uber work for both travel and food delivery. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant place to stay, highly recommended.

The room was just a pass‑through space, perfect for someone arriving late, sleeping, and leaving early to visit Anuradapura. The family was friendly; they didn’t speak English but assured us we were well taken care of, with AC, TV, a mosquito net in the room, water, and a welcome juice. There was no Wi‑Fi, and there was no network at all, so we couldn’t use our mobile data. That’s a problem for anyone who, like us, travels daily and uses the night to plan the next day, check prices, distances, etc.
