I was taken aback by the absence of a bar or any pre‑dining spot to grab a drink before dinner, and the bistro’s menu felt quite limited.
The reception was top‑quality and the facilities excellent, all for a very reasonable price.
“Pas d'accès tardif, en ce moment pas d'accès tout le temps, lors de ma prochaine au camp de Coetquidan j'évi”
The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom lets you choose between a shower or a bathtub; however, roadworks around GUER make access very problematic, and it’s even worse to leave—though it should improve eventually. On Sunday, breakfast in the room is offered, but there’s only one chair, no service, and a plain assortment of a yogurt, a croissant, and apple juice, all organic but unappealing; I’m disappointed and find it very expensive.
“Brilliant”
If you’re traveling through France with a dog and craving top‑tier cuisine, this place should be on your list; Elodie’s warm welcome and vibrant energy outshone everyone else, and the chef’s dishes spoke for themselves.
I returned to this lovely hotel for a second time after four years, and it was still as comfortable and welcoming as ever; unfortunately, I still haven’t had the chance to use all the amenities and the restaurant. Looking forward to a third visit. Nothing to add.
