The staff at the Colonial House Inn were kind, the kitchen was fully equipped, the garden was quiet and pleasant with hammocks and hummingbirds (!!), a small dog and a rabbit, and the room was spacious and the bed comfortable – everything was perfect, thanks again to the team!

The vibe is great. The hostel is run by a friendly family. It’s well‑situated. The staff help you plan everything you need and also give solid recommendations.

The Colonial House Inn is a fantastic starting point for exploring Quito. The location is superb, with plenty of great eating options, and you can walk to the old town, which was great. The hotel is run by the friendliest and most helpful people, so you feel comfortable immediately. We never expected a garden with hammocks, a TV room with a pool table, and a foosball table. Whenever we drove through Quito we kept coming back, and the value for money is unbeatable. It’s a wonderful place we can recommend anytime.
