The legendary kindness of the staff, an incredible view of the caldera, and a superb pool made the hotel even more magnificent. The breakfast was excellent. The manager—sorry, I forgot his name—was very friendly and helped book restaurants and arrange a rental car in minutes with Gannis, who also gave us a free airport drop on the last day. Nothing to report.

The hotel is quiet and the view from the pool over the caldera is breathtaking, albeit a bit chilly; our room had a lovely small terrace overlooking the sea, was comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was good. There was a bar/restaurant which was very appreciated, and the staff were adorable and helpful—one driver could take you to certain spots on the island for a fee. We really enjoyed our stay. We would have liked a kettle and something to make coffee or tea in the room, the rooms aren't always well soundproofed (or our neighbors were very noisy), and you need a car to reach some parts of the island (though you can take a bus to Oia and Fira).

The little terraces each room has and the kittens around made us feel loved and they would even sleep in our bed! We stayed for 2 nights; on the first night they brought dinner to the room, and the next day they came to clean the room but didn't take the dish, then made the bed and left it as is!
