We had a warm greeting in the morning from Anna who prepared a good breakfast for us. The check‑in involved a key box, the house was lost in the countryside and hard to find, and the 1970s décor felt cold and unappealing.

We were very happy customers and, despite the bad weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the breakfast and the food at the Bridge View house restaurant, only 10 minutes away, were great, and we’ll definitely return next year. Thanks, Rita. A sign at the gate would improve visibility at night because the house can be hard to find.

The location was remote and serene, the host was very friendly and helpful, and I recommend the restaurant they run at another B&B about 15 minutes away—food was good and reasonably priced. I personally didn’t like the bed because I prefer a firmer mattress.
