The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home.
The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a wonderful hot shower to look forward to.
I was treated to a delicious continental spread, complete with freshly made scrambled eggs and warm bread rolls.
The hotel's location was really convenient for my needs.

The small hotel is charming, located in a quiet spot with a wonderful host; breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the cleanliness was excellent. An elevator would be nice for guests who find stairs difficult.

Parkrunners, this is your place to stay. 25 min walk from Offenthal through the town. The nominal check out time is 1000 but we asked the nice lady and she allowed us 1100 so we could get a shower before we checked out. Loads of hot water, clean functional rooms. We'd not even booked breakfast but she offered us teas to take with us before the run. To summarise, parkrun friendly, come stay. All good
