“Best getaway if you are seeking serenity , comfort and a little bit of adventure”

The spot itself is a solid reason to book, but Matt’s communication was outstanding—he answered quickly and made me feel comfortable. When he realized there might be other guests on our checkout day, he texted me so we could take our time and not rush; that was a huge relief for my parents and me because we could enjoy the deck view a bit longer. Five stars for everything. I’ll definitely come back.

“Excellent and would recommend”

The location was private and peaceful with excellent on‑site amenities. The property was well presented, clean and well equipped. It was modest in size but large enough for our short stay, and we’ll definitely consider returning. The bedroom furniture was wicker and creaky. The interior wasn’t lavish, but it was acceptable for the price. The smart TV had no aerial connection, so we relied on streaming. We were unlucky with the weather and couldn’t fully enjoy the area’s activities; this fault lay with the weather, not the property, and we ended up spending more time in the lodge watching TV than otherwise.

“Very nice place near the lake”

The quiet spot right by the lake is great for visiting Costswold and nearby places—about an hour from Oxford, Bath, and Bleichheim Palace. Nothing to complain about.
