The staff were very friendly. The location was close to our event. The atmosphere was cozy and very affordable. The beds were very comfortable. My shower didn’t have a shower head, but that was fixed quickly. The amenities were very basic. I didn’t have hot water for my shower, but the weather was extremely hot, so the tap temperature was fine. There was nowhere to hang clothes.

There is parking and the place feels safe. It needs some upgrades: hot water, a shower head, an iron and ironing board, a blow dryer, and a small closet or dressing drawer.

The hospitality with which the administrators greet people is outstanding. Nothing else.

Monica and Jerson, the owners, are absolutely lovely people with whom we chatted amicably; Jerson even speaks English, which is uncommon in Guatemalan hotels. The on‑site restaurant is there, and Monica will serve whatever you want, creating a super friendly vibe that we really appreciated. A quick hello to Monica and Jerson and thanks for the warm welcome. The only downside was that there was no hot water in the shower, but that’s often the case in Guatemala.
