However, most staff don’t speak English, so communication often relies on gestures, which works fairly well. A multilingual guide would still be appreciated.

The place offers quiet, peaceful nature and the chance to light a campfire; a helpful man from the cabin by the stream assisted us, and the greenery was lovely. It felt a bit like an older era, and someone forgot to inform the restaurant about breakfast, but it was sorted quickly.

The lodge is spacious, clean, and the staff are responsive. Finding the reception was a real adventure because the directions were inaccurate.

The surroundings are very nice, and the biggest plus was the large room with enough beds for a family of 2+3. A handrail on the stairs would have helped since we were traveling with a one‑year‑old child.
