The place was really quiet, which was a nice break from the city buzz. The downside is that there’s basically nothing around – no shops, restaurants or anything within walking distance. If you don’t mind being a bit isolated, it works.

The inn is modest, but the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They’re clearly proud of their eco‑friendly approach, and the surrounding scenery is gorgeous. Nothing fancy, just a pleasant, sustainable stay.

“Muito boa pelos esforcos pessoais dos caseiros”

The coffee they serve is solid and the family who run the place are genuinely kind and attentive. My room was tidy, except the bathroom stall was pretty grim – tiles were dirty and the shower area needed a good cleaning. Getting there meant a highway drive and I arrived late at night, which was a bit awkward.

“Horrível”

The pool on the property is actually quite nice and the owners – Leonardo, his wife and little Mirella – are friendly and try to help. Unfortunately the room was a nightmare: a strong naphthalene smell, a thin blanket that smelled of chemicals, low‑comfort pillows, a hard bed, broken window, a leaky shower stall, and even a moldy single‑size mattress. There was no nightstand, no coat rack, and the breakfast was just plain toast, cheese and ham with a cheap passion‑fruit drink.
