The views, the food, the tranquility, the nature—all outstanding. I recommend the included guided walk up the hill and the permaculture tour of the hotel grounds with one of the founders. Santi was so passionate and interesting about the Cannua project.

Breakfast was good and the location convenient. The heater didn’t have much power, so it was cold in the room.

The place is ideal for disconnecting and recharging energy. The menu is somewhat limited, but it was enough for the time we stayed.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, but that doesn’t do much to help survive in this hotel! The directions are poor, and the road to the hotel is a disaster. If you’re lucky enough to get a room without natural wild growth in front of the window, the view is fantastic. There are quite a few issues: the house has no charm, feels cold, and although relatively new, the bite of time is evident. The price‑performance ratio is completely off. Breakfast was more of a demonstration of possibilities, as it was kept very minimal—just a dab of jam and a fingernail‑sized piece of butter for two people, which is a bad joke.
