“Great location and comfy room ✨”

The room was lovely, spacious and cosy, and I think they switched it from a twin to a double, giving me plenty of storage space. The location was great, just a 5‑minute walk to the shopping centre and Cranmore Park, and buses made getting around easy. I was worried because Google listed it as permanently closed, which caused anxiety on the travel day, and there was little online presence or recent reviews. I tried to message the site and call that day but got no reply until I arrived and called again; once I got through it was smooth.

“It was ok”

I was surprised to find an ensuite, something I didn't expect. The kitchen was shared, and there were no kettle or cups in the room.

The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. The instructions for finding the room keys were wrong, and there were no staff present, but another guest kindly helped me locate the key, so I eventually got in, though it was a bit stressful when I arrived.

Everything was friendly, the host was welcoming, the kitchen was a good size, and there was a fridge in the room.

“Safe bit of rest”

I was upgraded to a double bed and received my own ensuite toiletries. The owner was nice, friendly, and laughing. A table would have been useful for studying, though I hadn't requested one; spoons had been stolen by previous guests, leaving none for eating or stirring, so I had to bring my own.
