Nothing good. The sheets were damp and dirty, there were no toilet necessities as promised, the place was very noisy, animals were everywhere in the room, there was no insulation, and it was a total escape.

The view is straight up the mountain, breakfast is tasty and the service is friendly. It’s located right in the middle of the mountains, close to Lake Batur.

The manager is a lovely person; after our Batur climb finished late, he kindly pushed back our checkout. We had booked that climb through him.

Clean, the host was friendly and helpful, the food is good, and the view of Batur is great, though the place feels a bit isolated.

The location is perfect for the next day’s Batur climb (20 minutes on foot from the start). Unfortunately there’s nothing around the property, and the host promised to take us at 3 am the next day to the start point to avoid walking but never showed up.
