The spot was gorgeous, and the bed felt huge and super comfy. The room offered a lovely view, and my husband said the breakfast he had tasted was tasty. On the downside, the soaps were hard to open— a dispenser would help. The jam jars at breakfast looked heavily used, and there was no alternative to eggs for toast; maybe add marmite or cheese. Only jam was available. The taps in the downstairs toilet needed clear instructions, and the receptionist seemed a bit sullen and gave short answers.

The staff were excellent, though a bit more training for the restaurant service could improve things. The food was good. The bar area had tables that weren't always clean.
