The accommodation sits on the national bike route No. 4, making it ideal for a night’s stay, and the price‑to‑value ratio is excellent. The small bistro next door, which is only open at certain times, is the perfect spot for a meal or a drink. The breakfast buffet is simple but entirely sufficient, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. There’s nothing to complain about for the price‑value ratio.

“Clean, comfortable and convenient”

I was traveling on a tight budget and booked a single room with a shared bathroom, but the room itself was a decent size with a large comfortable bed, an armchair, a chair and a table, plus a roomy ensuite with a toilet and sink. The shared shower room was close to the bedroom, large, and clean. During my 5‑day stay I didn’t encounter another guest and the shower room was available every time I wanted to use it. I chose this location and hotel to explore the Bernese area by train, and with the train station literally across the road, it was perfect for visiting everywhere. The Wi‑Fi signal in my room wasn’t great, and because the hotel is so close to the train station and road, there is some traffic noise, especially with the windows open, but it didn’t disturb me.

It’s close to the train station. There aren’t many French‑language channels on the TV.

“Séjour Suisse agréable”

The site is near the Albeuve festival and close to beautiful sites. The toilets and showers are not in the room, but that was known when booking.
