“Cap sur l'hacienda pour atteindre le paradis”
We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the hacienda; the view from the room was exceptional, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The trees, outdoor amenities, and birds transported us to paradise. Its location let us explore Mahebourg, Blue Bay, and Île aux Aigrettes with ease.

The view, garden, and staff friendliness were highlights, yet the price was high for a poorly maintained property. The paint needed repainting, a makeover was required, the furniture was unusable or awkward, and the openings didn’t close properly or seal well. Cleanliness was mediocre, making it the most expensive and least satisfactory accommodation we found in Mauritius and Rodrigues.

The location was peaceful, but the accommodation was old and dirty. Upon arrival, the sheets were damp and filthy, and the sofa was so grimy that even a dog wouldn't sit on it. The outdoor cushions were similarly unsanitary. There was almost no kitchen equipment, and the cutlery was insufficient for the number of guests. In short, unacceptable for the price.

We appreciated the calm and nature, which were soothing. The staff were pleasant, but the accommodation’s wear and tear and the bathroom odors warranted a refresh.
