This is a complete zero for Booking. The BOLTON hotel no longer works with Booking and refused to honor the reservation I had made and paid for through Booking. I already sent a message to Booking on 4/10, and the hotel owner also called Booking. Apparently the message didn’t get through because I’m being asked to rate the BOLTON hotel.

Do not book through . My reservation was confirmed via , but the hotel didn’t acknowledge it. I had to book another room there and demand a refund for the money I paid. Otherwise, the hotel was passable: somewhat clean but not entirely, a bit run‑down in parts, and the staff were neither very friendly nor unpleasant.

If you booked before June through the original site, you may have to go back and pay again, so double‑check your reservation; apparently the manager fled, and I’ve already received a refusal letter and sent a refund request to the booking side, now I’m waiting for them to handle it.

I really appreciated the owner’s clear parking instructions and the smooth early‑check‑in even though I arrived a bit early without asking; the bathroom toilet kept gurgling all night, which could use fixing.

Breakfast was okay and the hotel sits right in the nightlife district, so grabbing food outside is convenient; however, the area is full of massage parlors and similar venues, the room smelled heavily of smoke and the AC and other equipment were quite noisy.
