The location was great, just 300 m from the beach, with friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. The bungalow was nice, spacious, and comfortable, with a mosquito net and spotless. It’s the best price in Ngweusang, especially now that most hotels are unavailable to foreign tourists. Unfortunately, in my bungalow— the one farthest from reception— Wi‑Fi barely worked. Others had praised it earlier, so it might have been a temporary glitch. The shower water pressure was also a bit weak. In the morning it was somewhat noisy because the property is close to the beach and one of the main village streets, but at night it’s quiet.

It’s close to the sea and the main street, offers good breakfast, and the staff are friendly. The street is noisy, and while the night is quiet, the bustle starts early.

The place is managed by a kind Burmese family, and you instantly feel part of them. I enjoyed watching the daily life of locals on the street in front, rather than staying at the beach all day, which is only 250 m down the road. The wooden bungalows are beautifully decorated. I was told that Chinese, Indian, and local guests usually don’t like this ‘village style’, whereas Western tourists love it—they want to return to nature. It’s a bit noisy during the day, but nighttime is very quiet, so you can even hear the sea waves.

I booked online at a certain price, but when I arrived, they tried to charge me double. The manager, who seemed to be a foreigner, got aggressive and started yelling at me in English. He even insulted me, calling me a Chinese person and saying I was a troublemaker. It was really shocking, especially since I was traveling in a foreign country.
