One Budget Hotel Chiangrai Bypass-East

The place is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. I booked a room with a pool view, but initially they gave me a room overlooking the parking area. However, I insisted on a pool view, so they gave me a room with a partial view. They wanted the room for other guests, and this ruined my vacation. I will not be returning to this hotel during my Thai holidays.

“Excellent rapport qualité prix.”

The hotel felt brand‑new because everything was immaculate; the pool was very pleasant (note that towels cost 50 THB each), there’s free parking right in front, a gym with lockers, and the rooms, corridors and stairs were all sparkling clean, plus a tiny 7‑Eleven‑style shop sits just a minute’s walk from the parking exit. On the downside, the building only has two floors so there’s no elevator, which is a hassle with several large suitcases when heading to the second floor, and it’s a bit far from restaurants and shops, so you really need a car or taxi, though the little shop does help for quick needs.

The room was great, the pool and gym were lovely, and the staff were helpful. The location isn’t the best, but getting into town is easy.

“Good accommodation for work”

The hotel was clean and very good for value. They provided a good number of car parks. There was a mini-mart in front of the hotel. The location was near to where my work place was. Only 1 ‘head-to-toe’ cleanser was provided in the room and 1 body towel each. I stayed for 2 nights and the room (though upon check-in was very clean) was never cleaned or tidied-up
