We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation matched the photos exactly and everything was spotless. I had read some reviews saying the room was on the ground floor, but with our large suitcases it was actually very convenient to avoid stairs. The street noise barely bothered us. The room was clean, the bed super comfy and the shower was roomy. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station to visit Cinque Terre, so we’d definitely come back. The only small snag was finding a place to charge our car, but we understand that isn’t the host’s responsibility.

It was private, quiet and comfortable. We never met anyone, so I can’t comment on the staff, but they were definitely professional and organized, making check‑in and check‑out easy. They replied to our messages right away. The location was handy for the train and for exploring the city. The shower was very slippery because the soap dispenser leaked enough to leave a film.

“Convenient location - lovely room!”

The room itself is lovely, decorated with stone that I think is old. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and honestly the best one we had during our three‑week trip in Italy. The bathroom, especially the shower, is nice – it’s big! We stayed in La Spezia, as many do to be near the train station for Cinque Terre, so the location was good in that sense. While I didn’t meet the hosts, they gave great directions for getting the key and checking out. The only downside was the noise – the street is busy and we could hear traffic all night, especially motorcycles. Other reviews mentioned this but downplayed the noise.

Spacious room, comfy bed and a great spot near the train station! One of the best places we stayed on our trip, nicely decorated and freshly renovated.
