The location is convenient. The room is on the smaller side, but I don’t mind. The shower is good, the sheets were clean, and I really appreciated the extra pillows. The cigarette smell was a huge problem. From day one, my friend and I (both non‑smokers) noticed a strong cigarette odor in the fourth‑floor corridor and inside our room. I had to keep the bathroom ventilator running almost all the time to avoid the room smelling like smoke. The bathroom itself often smelled like sewage or cigarette smoke. The ventilator is linked to the light, so keeping it on at night means the bathroom light stays on. As a non‑smoker, waking up at 2 a.m. to a strong cigarette smell was really unpleasant. There was also a strong weed smell once. When I mentioned the cigarette smell, I was told to turn on the ventilator; when I reported the weed smell, they just thanked me. At one point, staff even came to my room to check if we had been smoking, which made me feel the property knew there was a recurring smoke problem but didn’t fix it during my stay. The room isn’t soundproof, so you can hear traffic and the BTS; bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
