“Disappointed at check in hours”

We arrived just after 9 pm, rang the front desk and got no answer. We knocked, called several times, but still no response. We had to find another place to stay. It was unacceptable that after paying the full room fee we weren’t given an envelope with check‑in instructions for a place that would close so early. A heads‑up or a check‑in on our ETA before we were left out would have helped.

“Ouderwets.”

The place offers laundry and drying facilities. Unfortunately, My Place Suites feels dated and gives a bleak impression. The rooms lack coziness and need a fresh look—walls need repainting and some doors are damaged. The kitchen appliances were dirty, making the space unpleasant and unclean; we didn’t use them. The washing machine and dryer were a plus, and the front desk staff were polite and friendly at check‑in. Overall, it seemed more suitable as a one‑night stopover than a long‑term stay.

“It's ok but the property was not well maintained, rooms not very clean and the pool was not very nice.”

The location is good, but the bedroom is noisy and there’s no TV.

It’s a cute spot with a full kitchen in the unit, and the price matched the accommodations. The kitchen could have been cleaner; the microwave and coffee pot were left unwashed.

“I would love to come back”

I loved it—peaceful and safe for my two nights alone. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The pool and its vibe were great 🙏
