The washing machine was working, and the room was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. A Coop is a 6‑minute walk away where we found everything we needed. Checking in was tough; we had to call the front desk (which was hard to reach) to get entry to the building. After entering, the key was missing, so another long phone call was needed and the staff didn’t understand our issue. About 20 minutes later a man arrived with the key and let us into our room. The bed only had a mattress and a pillow, and we found a blanket in the wardrobe but it was dry. We were not satisfied with the cleanliness, especially the shower stall; the dishes were not rinsed properly, so we had to wash them ourselves. The host asks guests to clean up after themselves, but I think a check by the cleaners would help ensure previous guests were thorough. Overall, there were few dishes and no cutting board. The small drip coffee maker’s filter was broken. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, and a garbage bag. The clothes dryer was broken; we could only use it on the balcony chairs. The air conditioner smelled moldy and foul, and the freezer was dirty. We also felt an unpleasant drainage smell in the bathroom, and the shower stall was tiny, barely fitting one person. A wall near the bathroom entrance had peeling, yellowed paint. The location is not great, far from the city center and the beach; driving is fine but we didn’t have that option. The area is quite dirty and smelly.
