“Highly recommend for a hotel thats light on the pocket but feels like a 5-star stay”
The room was huge, and we were close to Moana Cafe, Cau May Street (where cheap trekking gear can be found) and Sun Plaza; the staff were friendly and accommodating, breakfast was superb, and the balcony offered breathtaking views – I loved every minute.
“Smelly and damp hotel”
The location is good and the staff very friendly, but the pictures and reviews misled us – the whole property, lobby and bedroom, smelled stale, musty and damp, and the area outside the hotel is filthy and an eyesore. I would avoid it entirely.
The staff were friendly, the room was a good size and spotlessly clean, and the location was great – overall a very pleasant stay with nothing I disliked.

The hotel sits on the outskirts of central Sapa, which keeps it away from the hectic noise; the staff are friendly and helpful, and the property feels family‑run. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable, water pressure is good, and many complimentary bathroom accessories are provided. Breakfast offers a decent selection of western items, though the croissants were not the best; Vietnamese staples like Chicken Pho are of good quality. A convenience store and a knock‑off hiking shop are next door. Overall, it’s a solid choice I would recommend.
