“Excelente”
Breakfast is very good; although the selection isn’t huge, what is offered is excellent quality and conveniently served at the table. The pool hardly gets any sun, so the water stays very cold and you can’t enjoy it; it would be better if it were heated.
“Magnifique !”
Magnificent! The suite is beautiful, the place is quiet, and the Riad with its pool is in a very pretty village. Breakfast and dinner are good. Silves is a stunning village!
“Caratteristico riad all'interno della Feira Medieval”
The riad sits right inside the August Feira Medieval grounds, which makes the visit feel extra exclusive, and we were greeted with a bottle of water, a half‑bottle of wine and complimentary fair tickets in the room—a pleasant surprise that I’d recommend mentioning ahead of time to avoid buying tickets online unnecessarily; the huge bed, mattress and pillows were top‑quality, the soundproofing was flawless, the small pool was clean and pleasant, breakfast of excellent quality was served at a nearby restaurant’s table, and there are plenty of free parking spots nearby, earning an effective score of 9.5. The only drawback was the shower, which wasn’t perfectly maintained and the disposable toiletries weren’t replenished on the second night, and the light blocking was insufficient, as I’ve found in many Portuguese properties.
Jane’s welcome was warm and immediately helpful. Nothing else, just that the bedroom was unfortunately too full for my taste.
The hotel was charming, right in the center of most sights and surprisingly quiet. The owners were wonderful and super friendly, and I’d definitely recommend it. Breakfast was delightful and set in a unique village setting. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spotless. The only downside was that everything seemed a bit too perfect, but that’s a minor point.
