The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though they seemed busy with many guests. The location was central, so I could walk wherever I wanted. The buses were nearby, letting me reach farther into town. Usually I drive to Tampereela, but this time I took the train because the hotel didn’t have many parking spots.

The location is excellent and the hotel is housed in a historic building. It does look a bit worn and seems to be waiting for renovation.

The breakfast was great, and when we asked, the annoying lounge music in the library was turned off. The check‑in was a bit slow.

The hotel itself is the best and most valuable in Tampere; the rooms are beautiful and cozy, and the location is excellent. This time the breakfast failed: the roasted potatoes, black sausage, and beans were dry and unappetizing. On Sunday morning the sausage, potatoes, and omelette were finished, and there was too little staff early. The minibar was filthy, and I’ve pointed that out every time!

The location is good and the breakfast is decent. It’s pricey, the bed feels too soft, and the room layout is awkward, probably because of the old structure.
