The owners are very, very nice and try to make sure you have the best experience. The breakfast is good too, especially the juice and the French bread. Because I didn’t have anyone after me, I was able to store my stuff on the third floor and they have a shared bathroom and shower for you to use after check‑in. I loved the path with so much flora that leads to the lodge. Personally, my room had a sea and old‑wood smell that I really like. The only downside was that my room lacked a cover, but I could have asked for it; I just forgot to ask.

I expected a decent guesthouse based on the price and the reviews I saw, but the stay fell short. The welcome at check‑in was friendly, but stepping into the room was a shock: a large spider on the door made me feel uneasy. The mini‑fridge was broken at first and I had to ask for a replacement; it should have worked right away. The room itself had obvious cleanliness issues—spider webs and dust near the window, plus a hole in the ceiling. The air‑conditioner was old and noisy. I could only pay with Pix, no card option. The bathroom was tiny and the first night it smelled horribly of sewage. On the bright side, the shower worked well and the water was hot. Overall, the place doesn’t live up to its price, especially in terms of cleaning, maintenance, and comfort.

The place is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly. Delsio and the family are very attentive and always ready to help. We would definitely return without hesitation.
