“Good short escape”
We found the place easily and stayed one night with my husband and our Toy Poodle for my birthday; pets cost an extra 7 € which we forgot to note. We came from Montpellier, so we appreciated an early check‑in around 14:00–14:30. The host was very welcoming, kind, and spoke excellent English, making communication easy even though my husband is French. He was attentive to our preferences and even made a couple of croissants for breakfast the next morning, a lovely personal touch. We chose the place for a change of scenery, rest, and to enjoy the pool before it got colder, so our expectations were modest. We were pleasantly surprised by how much the property offered: garden, pool, jacuzzi, table‑tennis area—all well organised and maintained. The room was beautifully designed, modern and new. The bathroom seemed recently renovated and very nice. We also liked the garden, breakfast area, and the little lake with fish. We didn’t use the kitchen, but having one would be useful for a longer stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it. A few things could improve: the 16:00 check‑in and 10:00 check‑out times felt a bit restrictive. We’re used to staying a bit longer after check‑out when the property allows it, but the host preferred us to leave around 11:00 in a kind way, so we couldn’t enjoy the property a little longer. With a 16:00 check‑in, there isn’t much time to enjoy the place for a short stay. He did give us good advice about a nearby village worth seeing. The toilet also kept making a leaking sound for a while after.
